The real design came later, after Redwan met a gardener at the local Mosque wearing a pair of trousers he'd owned for thirty years, bought at a car-boot sale and never replaced. Redwan asked if he could copy them. The gardener agreed, on the condition Redwan make him a couple of new pairs in return. A neighbour, a pattern cutter, took six months to draft it. From there, our tailor Kamali took over in his workshop in Bow, and has been making it ever since. We've made close to a thousand pairs in this cut.Our linen comes from Belfast. It's a breathable fabric, well suited to warm weather, and hypoallergenic, so it works for sensitive skin.
