    Jumbo Donegal Tweed Wool Overcoat

We found this fabric in a 100 year old fabric shop in Macclesfield. We were on our way back from visiting family in Poynton and took the advice of Emilys cousin's colleague to stop by on the way down to London. We were served by the 3rd and 5th generation of the family business of Shufflebothams and son. They had some amazing end of lines from Yorkshire and Irish mills. What an amazing find. This fabric they sourced from Magees of Donegal.A heavy weight that you only find on vintage coats nowadays. Here we have the opportunity to make them new. This is probably our best and warmest coat in the past 10 years of coat making. The unusual two tone colour also speaks for itself in uniqueness. If you're looking for 'the one', this is it. We found just enough fabric to make 10 coats.

    Wool Tweed Check Overcoat

We found this fabric in my favourite fabric shop Woolcrest. When i used to work there, i used to always put aside the top of the cream for myself when there was a new delivery. This fabric is likely to come from a Burberry factory as an end of line but i could never say say for sure! And here's the chatgpt descriptionA substantial wool tweed woven in a classic heritage check of warm browns with a subtle russet overcheck. The cloth has a soft but structured hand, giving the coat shape while remaining comfortable enough for everyday wear.Inside, the coat is lined in a deep burgundy cotton which adds warmth, durability, and a quiet richness when the coat is opened. The combination of earthy tweed and the dark red lining reflects the colours of winter fields and old interiors — practical, timeless, and made to age beautifully.

    Waxed Raincoat Dark Olive

Our raincoat is made in the same cut as our other coats. It is oversized and over styled but it will keep you warm and dry.Lined with a soft cotton liningMade in our east London one man FactoryThe fabric is an oilskinned waxed cotton. We came across on our way back from visiting family up north. A fabric dealer who was counting his last few weeks in this huge derelict warehouse on the outskirts of Birmingham. I wish i took pictures. I was too amused bu the fact that there was someone actually running a business in such a ghostly building! We bought a few end of line rolls that made the most beautiful raincoats and here is one of them.

    Orange Raincoat

Our raincoat is made in the same cut as our other coats. It is oversized and over styled but it will keep you warm and dry.Lined with a soft cotton liningMade in our east London one man FactoryThe fabric is a coated Denim. When Emily first saw me pick out the roll of fabric she said who's going to wear that! I think she must of thought i was going to use the backside. So i only got enough to make 4 coats. And how i regret not getting the full roll. We sold the other 3 pretty quickly and this is the last one left. The best things in life are those which get the heaviest judgements on their early path. When the gut is calling for something, stick with it till the end before you ask for a second opinion. If there's doubt in the gut then, don't!
