The real design came later, after Redwan met a gardener at the local Mosque wearing a pair of trousers he'd owned for thirty years, bought at a car-boot sale and never replaced. Redwan asked if he could copy them. The gardener agreed, on the condition Redwan make him a couple of new pairs in return. A neighbour, a pattern cutter, took six months to draft it. From there, our tailor Kamali took over in his workshop in Bow, and has been making it ever since. We've made close to a thousand pairs in this cut.Our linen comes from Belfast. It's a breathable fabric, well suited to warm weather, and hypoallergenic, so it works for sensitive skin. Wash at 30°C, gently, with mild detergent. Air dry when possible, or tumble dry on low and remove while damp. Iron slightly damp for best results. Creasing is natural to linen, not a flaw. Store clean and fully dry.Made in London
