A cropped jacket in Stephen Walters & Sons silk and wool blend, chosen for its delicate weave and subtle texture. Cut with ease through the body, the shape is boxy yet refined, sitting just above the hip.
Fully lined for comfort and structure. Details are understated: a clean neckline, button fastening, and two discreet side pockets.
Designed as a versatile layer — works equally well worn open over a shirt or buttoned for a more defined line.
About Stephen Walters Silk
Our silks are woven by Stephen Walters & Sons, the oldest silk‐weaving company in Great Britain, tracing its lineage back to 1720. Located at Sudbury Silk Mills, combine centuries of heritage with attention to environmental and social responsibility.
They were the makers behind the fabric for Queen Elizabeth II’s Coronation robe and wove the silk for Lady Diana Spencer’s wedding dress. They use both traditional skills and modern jacquard looms, ensuring that each yard of silk carries quality, craftsmanship and story.
