A collarless jacket, unlined, cut to one shape. Button fastening down the front, two front pockets, a raglan sleeve for extra movement through the shoulder. Sits loose enough to wear on its own, close enough to layer under a coat. Made in wool, a warm, natural fibre that insulates well and resists creasing.
Redwan wanted a jacket he could put on without thinking. Something that worked over a shirt in the morning and under a coat by evening, that moved with him rather than against him, that never felt like it was waiting for a special occasion. No collar to fuss with, no lining to add weight. Just a shape simple enough to wear every day and mean it.
Wool is a natural insulator, warm without being heavy, and naturally resists odour and creasing better than most fabrics. It’s more delicate than cotton or linen, so it needs gentler handling.

This one is in denim, a durable and breathable cotton twill, woven with a diagonal weave for extra strength, that's easy to care for and softens with wear.Inspired by Maria's homemade clothes in The Sound of Music: simple, humble, made rather than bought. Gardener Trousers | Indigo Cotton Twill

A loose, wide-leg trouser with a high, pleated waist. The front pleats double as belt loops, a small detail that took a lot of fitting to get right. Two side pockets and one back pocket. Made in cotton twill, a durable and breathable, natural fibre woven with a diagonal ridge for extra structure, that's easy to care for and softens with wear.Redwan wanted one trouser the shop could remake over and over: comfortable, modest, roomy enough to move in. The first attempt was a drop-crotch shalwar. It didn't catch on.
The real design came later, after Redwan met a gardener at the local Mosque wearing a pair of trousers he'd owned for thirty years, bought at a car-boot sale and never replaced. Redwan asked if he could copy them. The gardener agreed, on the condition Redwan make him a couple of new pairs in return.
A neighbour, a pattern cutter, took six months to draft it. From there, our tailor Kamali took over in his workshop in Bow, and has been making it ever since. A V-neck waistcoat, lined, with a button front and front pockets. This waistcoat is unique, made from offcuts of fabric from another project. This is a small, and there are no other sizes available. It is in wool, a warm, natural fibre that insulates well and resists creasing.Kamali has been our tailor for years, working out of his workshop in Bow. Every project leaves offcuts, and rather than throw them away, he kept them. Ten years' worth, as it turned out. One day he turned them all into waistcoats: about a hundred of them, in whatever fabric happened to be left over. Some good tweeds, some odd prints from old dress fabric. Each one exists once. When it's gone, that fabric is gone with it.Wool is a natural insulator, warm without being heavy, and naturally resists odour and creasing better than most fabrics.
