A collarless jacket with a clean neckline, cut boxy through the body and cropped to sit just above the hip. Fully lined. Button fastening down the front, two discreet side pockets. This one is in denim, a durable and breathable cotton twill, woven with a diagonal weave for extra strength, that’s easy to care for and softens with wear.
Inspired by Maria’s homemade clothes in The Sound of Music: simple, humble, made rather than bought. The idea was a jacket with nothing decorative about it, just clean lines and comfort, that still manages to look put together.
Cotton is a durable, natural, breathable fibre that holds up well to everyday wear. It’s low-maintenance, doesn’t need special handling, and gets softer the more it’s washed. Denim is a cotton twill, woven tightly for strength, that fades and softens with wear in a way that’s part of its character.

A V-neck waistcoat, lined, with a button front and front pockets. This waistcoat is unique, made from offcuts of fabric from another project. This is a small, and there are no other sizes available. It is in Irish linen, sourced from Belfast. Breathable and hypoallergenic, it softens with every wash and wears in rather than out.Kamali has been our tailor for years, working out of his workshop in Bow. Every project leaves offcuts, and rather than throw them away, he kept them. Ten years' worth, as it turned out. One day he turned them all into waistcoats: about a hundred of them, in whatever fabric happened to be left over. Some good tweeds, some odd prints from old dress fabric. Each one exists once. When it's gone, that fabric is gone with it.Our linen comes from Belfast. It's a breathable fabric, well suited to warm weather, and hypoallergenic, so it works for sensitive skin. Something that worked over a shirt in the morning and under a coat by evening, that moved with him rather than against him, that never felt like it was waiting for a special occasion. Gardener Trousers | Blue Lightweight Denim

A loose, wide-leg trouser with a high, pleated waist. The front pleats double as belt loops, a small detail that took a lot of fitting to get right. Two side pockets and one back pocket. Made in denim, a durable and breathable cotton twill, woven with a diagonal weave for extra strength, that's easy to care for and softens with wear.Redwan wanted one trouser the shop could remake over and over: comfortable, modest, roomy enough to move in. The first attempt was a drop-crotch shalwar. It didn't catch on.
The real design came later, after Redwan met a gardener at the local Mosque wearing a pair of trousers he'd owned for thirty years, bought at a car-boot sale and never replaced. Redwan asked if he could copy them. The gardener agreed, on the condition Redwan make him a couple of new pairs in return.
A neighbour, a pattern cutter, took six months to draft it. From there, our tailor Kamali took over in his workshop in Bow, and has been making it ever since.
